Dear Residents, Representatives, and Families:
July 31, 2020
Dear Residents, Families, and Representatives: I hope this letter finds each of you well. I wanted to share a brief, positive update with you. Residents and staff were tested on July 14, 2020. I am very pleased and happy to let you know that everyone tested negative; great news that I am grateful to be able to share with you. Due to Evergreen having no positive test results we are only going to have to test residents and staff one more time. That testing will occur in August. As long as everyone’s results continue to be negative, we will be getting close to being able to move into Phase Two of the reopening process. This phase allows for some small group activities of no more than ten residents. Restrictions on visitation from outside the facility remain in place during this phase. You can continue to communicate with your loved one through Zoom video calls and telephone calls as we continue to move towards meeting the CDC and CMS guidelines for reopening the facility.
Thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. I am thankful that our efforts in doing everything we could to protect our residents and staff have resulted in no positive cases to date. We will continue to monitor and screen both residents and staff on a daily basis, and take every precaution to keep this pandemic at bay. From a community perspective, please remember to wear your mask in public, wash your hands frequently, and maintain appropriate social distancing. It goes without saying that we are all a part of the solution in being able to contain this crisis.
I continue to be very proud of our residents and staff- my heroes – and want to assure you we will remain vigilant in our mission to keep everyone safe. We will keep you updated. As always, we are available to answer any questions you might have.
Stay well and stay safe, Ramona Ringstaff Administrator
